As we embark on the 2021/22 school year we would like to invite you to participate in our school council. A school council does the following:
- Representing and informing parents.
- Advising the principal and the board on matters relating to the school.
- Participating in the development of school education plans, annual education results reports and budget.
- Facilitating communication and supporting parent engagement within the school and school authority.
Typically, a school council meets approximately once every 8 weeks for an hour to an hour and a half.
This year we will be meeting virtually or in person, you can choose either option.
