Changes to LOS for 2020-21

It is with mixed emotion that I would like to announce some changes to Lacombe Outreach School. (LOS)

Beginning September of 2020, LOS will no longer be situated in its current location. We are moving! LOS will be relocating to the old location of Wolf Creek Academy (5302 56th Ave.) After nearly twenty years in the same location, LOS is moving to a more suitable location. This is exciting for many reasons:

• Closer to amenities that will benefit the student population
• Closer proximity to partner school
• Safer location
• Modern building
• Cost saving as there is no lease costs

Although this is excellent news there is a downside. Due to the reduction in space, LOS will no longer be able to house a Junior High program. This is difficult news for the current students and for the past students who have enjoyed and benefited from this excellent program. The staff at LOS and in Wolf Creek Public Schools are committed to providing unique and thoughtful ways to support the current students in the Junior High Program.

We would like to thank our neighbors, past and present, for the support we have felt in our current location. All of us at Lacombe Outreach look forward to serving our community from our new location.
